When buying a car most of us don’t think about what’s under the bonnet just the basic features and colour, this is also the thinking for most purchasing decisions. With AI however we need to understand how the AI handles the data to reach its conclusions.

Recently we had a financial organisation decide to move to a more complex AI solution, when pointing out that the terms and conditions allowed for the provider to share the data, they stated they had the contract changed to suit their needs. The issue with this is that there are other platforms used downstream that still use, share and possibly have legal ownership of the data so the AI can do its job.
